The following support groups meet at the O’Neill Senior Center:

Chronic Disease Self Management Classes                                                                                                                                                                                         Tuesdays beginning June 10, 9:00am-11:30am 

This program works! Do you have a chronic disease such as diabetes, asthma, emphysema, MS, arthritis, heart conditions, and high blood pressure? Do you want to improve your general health, spend fewer days in the hospital, reduce fatigue, and learn to communicate more effectively with family, friends and health professionals?  Then this is the program for you.

Healthy “U” is an evidence-based program developed by Stanford University. The seven weekly classes teach practical ways to help participants improve communicate with doctors, start and stick with exercise programs, use relaxation techniques, deal with emotions, manage symptoms, eat well, set goals and effectively problem-solve. Space for these classes is limited so please register early by calling the O’Neill Center (740)373-3914.
