Save Money with these Programs
The Golden Buckeye Card is free to Ohio residents age 60 or better and to those ages 18-60 who are disabled as defined by Social Security. Buckeye Card holders receive discounts at thousands of retail and food establishments throughout Ohio. Ohio residents who do not automatically receive the card can apply at the O'Neill Senior Center.
Help with Winter Heating bills is available through the Home Energy Assistance Program, also referred to as HEAP. It provides energy credits to eligible households. The O'Neill Senior Center has applications and can assist with completing the form. O'Neill's Heap Outreach Representative can visit home-bound Washington County residents and assist in completing the form. Contact transportation@oneillcenter.com to request more information.
