Adult Day Service
Senior adults with physical and/or mental challenges often require personal care or other assistance to remain living at home. Initially, family or friends may provide the assistance needed.
However, providing needed care and assistance everyday- 24/7 is a tough job. For those employed outside the home, care giving can become the equivalent of taking on a second job. It can also create physical, economic, and emotional stress on caregivers.
O'Neill's Adult Day Service provides daytime support and relief for caregivers - enabling families and other caregivers to continue caring for a loved one at home for as long as possible. The services and activities offered by O'Neill's Adult Day Services enable participants to receive the care that is needed and enjoy fun activities and companionship.
O'Neill's Adult Day Service received its first guest in 1992. Since then, nearly 400 seniors have enrolled and hundreds of families in and around Washington County Ohio have been helped. Caregivers receive time away so they can complete other tasks or just have time for themselves.
O'Neill's Adult Day Service provides quality care by experienced professionals. Our guests receive:
- Hot nutritious meals and snacks
- Assistance with personal care and showers, if needed
- Health and medication monitoring
- Transportation if needed, and
- Enjoyable time away from home to develop friendships and social supports
