Celebrity Autograph Memeorabilia Fundraising Auction
If you are an autograph collector, Marietta, Ohio is the place to be on March 9th. Over 120 autographed items donated by national sports celebrities and authors will be auctioned. A NASCAR racing helmet signed by Darrell Waltrip, as well as signed items by other sports stars including: legends of NASCAR Tony Stewart, hockey’s Mario Lemieux and Gordie Howe, golf’s Jack Nicholas and Arnold Palmer, baseball’s Yogi Berra, Sparkey Anderson, and Bill Mazeroski, football’s Lynn Swann, John Madden, Jim Tressel, and Don Shula, and basketball greats Jerry West, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and John Wooden. The author, Lilian Jackson Braun, donated a signed copy of her best selling book. Other celebrity autographs include the actor, James Earl Jones, the artist, Thomas Kinkade, and singers, Amy Grant and Paul Anka.
All proceeds of the auction benefit the O’Neill Senior Center, accredited by the National Institute of Senior Centers and serving citizens 55 years and older in Washington County Ohio.
