Helping seniors be HIP – Healthy, Independent, and Productive – that’s the mission of the O'Neill Senior Center. For over 25 years, the O'Neill Center has delivered programs, activities, and services that have enabled thousands of older adults to remain healthy, actively engaged, and living in the community.

Louise Gray of Lowell, Ohio was honored by O'Neill Senior Center for her twenty years of volunteer service as bingo manager. At a recent event, the Center dedicated the facility’s main area to Mrs. Gray. Over sixty people attended the dedication which included recognition of all volunteers who assisted with the weekly bingo operation.

The Washington County Senior Services Levy is making a difference in the lives of thousands of senior citizens.

The O'Neill Senior Center has been accredited by the National Institute of Senior Centers.

The O'Neill Senior Center has announced that as of September 30, 2005 its Prescription Assistance for Seniors (PAS) program had acquired 12,596 prescriptions worth over $3 Million dollars for seniors enrolled in the program.

The O’Neill Senior Center recently made several program changes to improve the efficiency of its programs and better serve the needs of the county’s growing senior population.

Sometimes, in our zeal to help someone important to us - maybe an elderly parent, a spouse, a grandparent or friend - we overlook programs or services close at hand that could help us do an even better job for that person.
